Tomas Larsson
CEO & CAO
Tomas Larsson is a seasoned Data Science Leader with a rich background in Fortune 500 companies, startups, and consulting agencies. He has a proven track record in areas such as data management, predictive modeling, forecasting, product development, pricing, customer satisfaction and generative AI. His career includes senior positions at Vanguard, BLEND360, EXL Service, Laureate Education, and USAA, where he successfully built and mentored data scientists and implemented advanced modeling solutions.
Tomas holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is passionate about promoting data-driven cultures within organizations and making AI tools accessible to a broader audience. In his spare time, Tomas enjoys listening to audio books, spending time with family and working in his vegetable garden.
Phillip Peng
CO-FOUNDER & CTO
Phillip, an Applied AI Practice Leader, boasts 15 years of experience in creating and implementing applied AI products tailored for HigherEd institutions. His expertise has empowered leaders to bolster new student enrollments, enhance student success and retention, and streamline business operations using predictive analytics, state-of-the-art technology, and in-depth domain knowledge.
Passionately collaborating with business leaders, Phillip is dedicated to co-shaping insights and strategies. He remains at the forefront, championing the newest AI advancements to optimize business outcomes.
Phillip earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and a Master's in Economics from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Kevin Chen
CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF DATA SCIENTIST
With over ten years of experience, Kevin specializes in crafting data-driven machine learning and applied AI solutions tailored for HigherEd institutions. He is at the forefront of devising innovative methodologies to enhance the precision and resilience of machine learning predictions. His efforts are centered on deriving actionable insights that bolster student enrollment, academic achievement, retention, and graduation rates.
Kevin's dedication to product innovation is unwavering, with an aim to elevate business impact. Prioritizing clients' needs, he never hesitates to exceed expectations, ensuring the utmost quality of our AI offerings.
Kevin is an alumnus of the University of Illinois at Chicago, holding Master's degrees in both Statistics and Physics.
